HIRO's LIED brings the everyday life of an emigrant with dementia to the stage. It is an interplay of perceptions. Real worlds, dream worlds, moods and imagined realities intermingle. With Yumiko Yoshioka (mother), the world-famous Butoh dancer, and Asuka J. Riedl (daughter), Yoriko Maeno brings a performance of theater, songs and lots of dance to life.
